At the start I thought it sounded very Pendulum-esque. I was expecting it to break out into full drum and bass, or at least some double time glitchy rhythms. It would have been nice if it evolved, or completely changed dynamics somewhere. But the glitching was quite nice. Maybe do some glitchiness on the strings in some parts?

Pretty predictable really. Right down to the syncopated bass, use of fade-in filters, and piano. The chords were especially predictable. I gave it slightly more credit due to the fact it was nicely mastered and had a few nice effects.
Not original enough, if you ask me.

Damn, those lyrics were messed up- fast too. It's a taboo tongue-twister! The piano was good too. Disturbing, disgusting and funny at the same time.

"Reminds me of when my mum used to sing me to sleep"
It sure does. She used to sing me to sleep, and this is the same kind of mood which I used to get when she was singing to me.
I love the instruments and the soft (well duh... :P) strings and pads in the background.
Seriously, this is so like what my mum used to sing. This song really hits a chord with me.
Really great, and I've got no criticism.

It's that kind of sinister... but fun mood. Like the Mafia having a birthday party or something. I really liked it.

Cheery melody. Nicely put together too. Just a nice feel all round. It's the same chords, over and over, but somehow it doesn't get boring. I guess it's that it builds up and every measure is slightly different. I like it. Only thing is that that blippy synth doesn't really seem to fit in. Also, the drums should have had less fills, and more keeping the beat. But whatever. Was really nice.
Author's Response:
The blippy synth is my (sad) midi attempt at pizzicato/plucked violins. Clearly, my midi skills are weak (I know this) and if I get better at creating instruments, I'll fix it up mo bettah. That's funny what you said about the drum fills, because I was worried the drums were too boring so I added the fills to flesh them out a bit. Maybe I should've had more confidence. Ah well, I'll learn as I go.

Pretty generic drums, pretty basic textures. Repeating melody. Sorry, doesn't really cut it for me.

I've never used Garage Band, so I'm not sure, but it sounds like you've just dragged and dropped pre-made samples. The instruments don't really match up, and it would be nice if it had different sections, maybe change chords or something.

Those melodies were really nice. Everything fitted nicely. But there was a big problem with it.
The sync and timing was well off. You should record stuff into a sequencer so you can adjust the timing.
So yeah, if it was synced properly I'd love this song. 4/5 :)

"Interesting message in the vocals."
I'm not joking- because there's no vocals it really says something. It's the animal's song, I presume about all the hardship and trouble they go through- and they have no voice to tell anyone. So that was very moving. Thanks for uploading this for us to hear.
