Awesomesauce!

Why is it rated so low :P
Woah, I missed that melody that comes in at 1:30. Funky stuff!

MisterSmammi responds:

Hehe, thanks, man.

Yeah, people here just don't really listen to a song all the way through before giving it a shitty rating. I got a zero within three minutes of posting it even though it's an eight minute song.

Love those drums!

They're a nice break from the regular N-tsk-N-tsk-N-tsk style stuff.
The melody is nice too.
Good going.
But yeah, I love those drums.

'Twas ok...

But anyone who uses FLStudio will know that this is just Toxic III defaults playing the same chord progression.
The effects were all right though.

Clashing

Good synth does not make a good song.
The drums were generic, the lead had the same 2 second repeating melody.
The bass at the start was completely the wrong note, and then just disappeared.
Seriously, work on your stuff a bit more.

Korpze responds:

lol, i do believe your kinda lucky getting it free then buying it and figuring out it sucks and a waste of money.

Nice idea... work on it.

I mean, really nice main synth. But the one that comes in afterwards is quite too... rave-y for this song. The drums kind of ruin it too by being too thick. You need some subtle rhythmic clicks, or some distant drums at the most. Has potential to be good though. And it's a work in progress, so whatever ^^

Thanks for the view Kaburorne. I've updated it. It sounds better and the industrial perc was deleted and replaced for an electro perc.
Also it's longer now...

Now I am working on a few new pads and leads.

Awesome

Really got me pumped. Very energetic feel. I love the drums, just the right voices you used there. The melodies were good, the synths were great. Everything just really worked. Sounds like it's from the Matrix. The only thing I could suggest is that some of the instruments don't follow the chords. Like you have the main synth going 0... 0... 5... 4... and the rest of them just go 0 all the way through, so some notes clash sometimes. I love that it starts back up again too, and goes back to basics. Just drums, bass and some effects in the background. Everything builds up a really nice layered effect.
Seriously, this is better than most of the electronic music on here. Most of it is that predictable techno crap. This is awesome.

What a nice review! Thanks for your time mate.
I have to say that is my last and best work until the date. Very good you like it.
Maybe I will work more on this song soon.

Reminds me of Mike Oldfield

It really does, especially the Light + Shade albums. Sounds very like this. I love this track. Good mastering, but more importantly, a great tune. Nice improv too. The subtle ocean sound effects were great too. Great stuff.

Nice.

At the start I thought it sounded very Pendulum-esque. I was expecting it to break out into full drum and bass, or at least some double time glitchy rhythms. It would have been nice if it evolved, or completely changed dynamics somewhere. But the glitching was quite nice. Maybe do some glitchiness on the strings in some parts?

I thought it was ok...

Pretty predictable really. Right down to the syncopated bass, use of fade-in filters, and piano. The chords were especially predictable. I gave it slightly more credit due to the fact it was nicely mastered and had a few nice effects.
Not original enough, if you ask me.

Haha that was creepy.

Damn, those lyrics were messed up- fast too. It's a taboo tongue-twister! The piano was good too. Disturbing, disgusting and funny at the same time.
